Each year our Masters and MBA students undertake a research project as part of their dissertation. We have students studying a wide variety of Masters programmes across all areas of business and management, and many students welcome the opportunity to work on real life business issues.

Students can work with an organisation on a particular issue or challenge set by the host organisation for a period of around 3-4 months from June to September.

Why consider a Student Project?

It’s cost effective without sacrificing excellent quality – Masters students are a cost-effective resource who can add a fresh perspective to your organisation. Many of them already have work experience.

Your chance to gain valuable knowledge whilst providing invaluable experience – Organisational projects give students an invaluable experience to test their new skills in the workplace, and to develop their career plans.

Gain the most up to date management insight from a world leading Management School – Students bring the latest knowledge and technical expertise to the projects on which they work. Your organisation will certainly benefit from the insight and energy of one or more of our high calibre students.

Excellent quality research – Employers will get a highly motivated individual. As a product of the final dissertation, the research you gain be of the highest quality.

Mutually beneficial – Both students and companies learn in equal measure, hopefully contributing to the success of any organisation.

A wide variety of different language skills – Our international student body means we have a wide variety of language skills, so projects with an international context are welcomed.

“Using a Masters student provided us with insight that would have otherwise taken us a lot of time and effort to put together. The research was tailored to our needs & presented in a useful format.”
