The Spring event theme is Entrepreneurship and we are absolutely delighted to have secured notable alumni guest speakers, Peter Dowds and Tom Brooks, the founders of online businesses, MOPP and Elder.
The pair swapped lucrative careers in the Square Mile to follow their own business idea - this is why we've got them in for our next Sheffield Alumni in London event!

About our Speakers:
The two alumni of The University first met in halls and quickly established a friendship, and later business partnership, that would prove highly successful.
MOPP is an online platform enabling users to find professional cleaner services (think of it as Uber with dusters) which was sold in 2014 to US firm Handy in a multi-million pound deal. In 2015 they started a new venture, Elder, which aims to link carers and care-giving professionals with those who need it. Peter and Tom have raised £7 million for Elder from one of the leading Venture Capital funds in Europe.
